Pause.

Under the canopy

Of a prosperous Mango tree

The breeze flirts with the green

The raindrops

On a parkour mission

Make way to the earth

beneath

All flourishes

And the silver little petals flutter

The trunk is untouched

Smiling omnisciently

“I created it all

Who am I to be affected?”

Even as the pearls fall

No one seems to mind

They rejoice

And jump in puddles

The world keeps spinning

Oldies age

Tigers prey

And right below the trunk

A butterfly breathes her last -

So would you spin, as the world spins

Or take a moment to pause?
